Touch Bar Monitoring - Retrofit Kit

Use with 22/33/35A/98/99 Series Exit Hardware Only.

The RX (request to exit) signal switch feature signals the use of an opening from the push side. When the touch bar is depressed, the switch is activated. These devices are equipped with an internal SPDT switch that monitors the touch bar only.

RX – Escape Device Monitoring
Switch rating – 500mA @ 24Vac/dc resistive

Use the suffix RX. For example, 99RX.EO.US28

This range of architectural grade escape devices includes the 98 Series with its smooth mechanism case and the established 99 Series with its familiar grooved design. The two styles are mechanically and dimensionally identical and provide a solution for standard stile applications down to 89mm. Best suited to heavy duty situations on perimeter and internal doors where architectural grade safe egress in panic emergency situations is a requirement.
