Self-Locking Escape Lock 55mm, 60mm, 65mm or 80mm Backset for Timber Doors - Square Forend - 20mm or 24mm
Mode of Operation - E (Transmission Function)
Do not fit levers externally. The deadbolt is thrown automatically each time the door closes (this is a function of the snib and the latch; namely, when the snib is fully depressed and the latch is allowed to engage behind the keep). The door's status is controlled externally with the key, which will retract both the bolt and the latch simultaneously with a quarter turn. The door may be pulled open using either the key or a fixed pull. Each time the door closes completely into the frame, the latch and the deadbolt re-engage, securing the door. The door is always free for escape. The escape mechanism allows the deadbolt and latch to be withdrawn simultaneously via the inside lever handle in one operation.
NB—Strike plates are not included with lock cases. They are available for special orders. Please call the sales office.
