Rim Electric Strike - Heavy Duty w. Dual Signal Switch (Status Monitoring).

Specify Fail Safe (FS) or Fail Secure (FSE), 12Vdc or 24Vdc Operation (NB - this is not a dual voltage electric strike). 

Electric strikes provide remote unlocking of a locked door. They allow the door to be opened without retracting the latch bolt. This is achieved by releasing the electric strike lip (sometimes called the keeper or gate). When the door closes, the bevelled latch bolt rides over the lip and falls back into the electric strike pocket - locking the door.

This model is for use with rim-mounted escape hardware on single-door applications. 6113 Series electric strikes are compatible with Von Duprin 98/99, 33A/35A & 22 Series Rim Exit Devices.

This version includes the DS Dual Signal Switch (Status Monitoring), used exclusively with the 6000 Series Electric Strikes. The ‘Dual Switch’ monitoring option has two SPDT contacts. One switch monitors the tripper, which is depressed when the latch bolt is inserted into the strike pocket, and the second switch monitors the condition of the strike lip, open, closed, and locked. The DS option must be specified at order placement.
