Heavy Duty Concealed Overhead Door Holder - Stop Only (S) or Optional Friction (F) & Hold Open (H) Versions

Providing an effective ’out of the way’ auxiliary stop when the friction or hold-open function is not a requirement. Alternatively, the door can be held open at a pre-determined position for long or short periods (H) or any position (F) version. The hold-open (H) function is an automatic mechanism that ‘kicks in’ when the door is opened to a pre-set angle.

• All models are available in 300 Series stainless steel, brass and steel substrates; the broadest range of finishes in the industry is provided to complement any design
• Brass and stainless steel offer the highest resistance to corrosion for a longer-lasting product in various weather conditions

The 410 Series holders and stops offer the industry’s widest variety of functions, base materials and finishes to fit all medium to light-duty applications. They provide the perfect combination of form and function, effective door control, and a low-profile design. Each model is constructed so the channel is encased within the door, and the jamb bracket is mortised in the frame. When the door is open, the arm and jamb bracket are visible. Conversely, the entire holder is completely concealed when the door is closed.

These models can be used with most surface-applied door closers. The templates allow for variable mounting positions, ranging from 85° to 110° of opening. They are designed for installation in almost all doors, including doors with conventional butt-type or speciality hinges.
