provides controlled access through escape doors (via a remote unlocking feature) usually found on the perimeter of a buildingEL devices are 'free from fixings' and thus safe egress is always availablethe latch bolt is retracted via a switch, reader or push buttonthe EL 98/99 series is suitable for standard installations down to 89mm stile widthsthe EL 33/35 series is suitable for narrow stile doors down to 44mm stile widthcan be used on single or pairs of doors (plain or rebated meeting stiles)devices can be supplied to fit door widths down to as narrow as 752mm or as wide as 1219mmcomplete systems will require a power transfer across the hinge line and a custom built power supply
