High Security LCN closers feature a vandal resistant design engineered
for each application, easy installation and superior performance.
Applications
- For concealed or surface mounted installations subject to potential
abuse or vandalism.
- For institutional grade aluminium, hollow metal or timber doors and
frames.
- Adaptor plates and accessories are available for unusual conditions.

Features common to High security closers:
- Each closer is application specific and is handed.
- All conventional applications have a 'size one' setting (spring strength)
indicated by the suffix -1 (e.g. 4211 and 4511).
- Adjustable hydraulic backcheck cushions the opening arc prior to 90
degrees.
- Separate regulation of closing and latching speeds.
- All arm joints are pinned to prevent disassembly.
- All closers are furnished with Torx tamper resistant machine screws.
- All surface mounted closers include a heavy gauge steel cover with
four attachment points.
- All closer adjustments are protected when the installation is complete.
- All track closers use a jam resistant track and tamper resistant arm/roller
assembly.
- Reversible shoe to boost latching power on double lever arms.
Warranty
- 2210 Series closers with an optional door position switch (DPS) carry
a two-year limited warranty
- All other high security closers carry a 10 year limited warranty.

Finishes
- Available from stock in US28 silver powder coated finish
- Available in a wide range of powder coated finishes to match any RAL

- Plated finishes available on metal covers and all arms (to special
order).
- LCN's powder coated finish surpasses 100 hours of salt spray - four
times the ANSI (US) standard.

Maintenance
- Closers mounted in accordance with LCN installation instructions require
no periodic maintenance or adjustment.
