LCN 1000 series closers feature a modern slim line design for easy installation
on narrow head frames and top rails.
Applications
- For aluminium, hollow metal and timber (butt hung or pivoted) single
action doors
- 1000 series closers will fit transoms as narrow as 44mm without the
need for adaptor (drop) plates.
- Adaptor plates and accessories are available for unusual conditions

Compliance - Fire Doors
Features common to the 1000 series:
- Fully universal. Closers from Relcross always include the parallel
arm (designated suffix -P) 62 PA shoe.
- Regular or (optional) hold open arms mount hinge side or top jamb
and are available mounts with the 'P' version.
- All closers are non-handed and fit left hand and right hand doors.
- All conventional applications have a 'size one' setting (spring strength)
indicated by the suffix -1 (e.g. 1461 and 1071).
- Adjustable hydraulic backcheck cushions the opening arc prior to 90
degrees.
- Separate regulation of closing and latching speeds.
- Ball joints in regular arms and shoes to accommodate uneven trim.
- Reversible shoe to boost latching power on double lever arms.
